Dr. Katie Andrew, PT DPT
Dr. Katie Andrew, PT DPT has been providing dynamic, progressive, manual-therapy based physical therapy for 18 years. A 1997 graduate of Arrowhead High School, Katie earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Bradley University in 2001. During her four years at Bradley, Dr. Andrew was a Division 1 cross country and track scholar athlete.
After college, Dr. Andrew moved to Chicago where she worked in hospital care, workman’s compensation, and in a large chain that provided generalized outpatient orthopedic care. In 2008, she joined a small private practice and thrived in an environment that allowed her treat each patient with more personalized care. By 2014, Dr. Andrew earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree and felt she had truly found her passion working with patients in a small clinical setting. In 2015, Dr. Andrew and her family decided to trade city life for a home in Lake Country to be closer to extended family.
In Lake Country, Dr. Andrew joined a small orthopedic clinic and began working with Lake Country’s active community. Helping runners, cyclists, skiers and paddle sport athletes come back from injury has further developed Dr. Andrew’s assessment and treatment skills.

Dr. Courtney Kruggel, PT, DPT, CMTPT/DN
Originally from South Bend, Indiana, Dr. Courtney Kruggel, PT, DPT, CMTPT/DN moved to Milwaukee to enroll in Marquette University’s direct admit physical therapy program. She graduated summa cum laude with her Bachelor’s in Exercise Physiology and minor in Psychology in 2018 and Doctorate of
Physical Therapy in 2020. Throughout her schooling, she was a National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT). She enjoys combining her experience as a personal trainer and a physical therapist to help progress patients functionally, improving their movement patterns that they utilize not only in their daily life, but also in high level recreational activities.
Courtney began her physical therapy career within a fast-paced outpatient clinic. While she saw a wide variety of patients, she longed for more individualized care and longer treatment sessions to truly
maximize the potential of her patients. She strives to help athletes of all ages and levels manage injuries, achieve their goals, and empower them to take their health into their own hands. Katie Andrew Physical Therapy was the clinic to make that happen and she officially joined in the beginning of 2022.
Though a recent graduate, Courtney has already become a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist in Dry Needling (CMTPT/DN) through Myopain Seminars and is skilled in dry needling for muscular conditions throughout the entire body, not limited to headaches, TMJ, patellofemoral pain, piriformis syndrome, rotator cuff pathologies, and tendinopathies. She combines dry needling with other forms of myofascial release (PNF, ART), neuromuscular re-education, and therapeutic exercise to enhance patients’
progress. She looks at the full kinetic chain and functional movement patterns to identify compensations and deficits and individualize a plan of care for each patient.
When not treating patients, Courtney loves to stay active through running marathons and cross-training with weightlifting. She loves to spend time outdoors at the beach, on walks near the lake listening to podcasts, and sitting at one of Milwaukee’s many coffee shops reading (almost) any genre of book. She loves the variety of restaurants, breweries, and events that Milwaukee is home to, but is excited to have Delafield as her second home.
Katie goes above and beyond as a small town PT
“She puts her clients first and her passion for helping others is extraordinary. She is excellent with my high school athlete; I can’t recommend her enough.”
