Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use my insurance to pay for treatment?

Payment is due at the time of service, however Katie Andrew PT can provide you with an invoice that can be submitted to your insurance. Katie Andrew PT fees are well below our competitors to accommodate our self-pay and out-of-network patients.

How much time do you get with a therapist each session?

For $140 you are one on one with a therapist for 60min! No PTA’s, NO techs, Many of our competitors charge similar rates for 30 min sessions!

What if I have to cancel or miss my appointment?

Cancellations should be made within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment. If a cancellation occurs with less than 24 hours notice, and the appointment cannot be filled, the patient will be billed a $70 cancellation fee.

What should I wear to treatment?

Please bring shorts, t-shirt, and athletic shoes to your session

What forms of payment do you accept?

HSA, FSA, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover and AMEX), cash or check

Why use a direct-pay business model?

On average, most patients have insurance deductibles of $5,000 or more. The average PT clinic bills insurance $250 per session, the cost of which is the patient’s responsibility until they meet their deductible. At Katie Andrew PT, we keep our treatment prices affordable (less than half of what most PT clinics bill to insurance) to allow you to use your HSA card, provide an invoice for your insurance, and still provide exceptional care.

How many visits will I need?

Each patient’s needs are different. Some patients come in weekly for 4-6 sessions, while others return on a monthly basis for “tune-ups”. Studies show that, on average, patients who receive manual-therapy based therapy, like that provided by KA-PT, see longer lasting results with fewer sessions.

Katie Andrew is probably the best PT I've ever seen.
